Reading from external EEPROM using I2C?ģ. Then reading from what device will be AS close to the TOPSPEED or even faster?Ģ. Let's say reading speed from internal EEPROM is the TOPSPEED. Now I think of using 1mb (or 512kb) EEPROM. The only problem is that At128 has only 4kb of EEPROM. Then I tried reading from At128's internal EEPROM and it was very fast, just what I needed. Maybe it is because I used SOFTWARE SPI since I had Hardware SPI pins used by another device. I've already tried reading from MMC, but reading speed was not fast enough for my needs. I need to store and read some data (an array of uint_8t) somewhere and it should be read very very quickly (writing speed does not matter). Could you tell me please, for example I have Atmega128 at 16Mhz.
